The Erasmus+ project SKILL2SUSTAIN was presented at the International Conference on Trends and Challenges in Digital Education, organised as part of the global DigiEduHack 2025 initiative.
The conference brought together researchers, educators, policymakers and EdTech innovators to discuss how digital transformation can make education more inclusive, engaging and sustainable.
Within this dynamic setting, SKILL2SUSTAIN was showcased as an example of how sustainability skills and digital competencies can be integrated into innovative learning models for students and teachers across Europe. The presentation highlighted how digital tools and new pedagogical approaches can support climate-aware decision-making and foster responsible, future-oriented skills.
By linking digital education and sustainability, SKILL2SUSTAIN contributes to building the next generation of climate-conscious and digitally skilled learners, in line with the priorities of the Erasmus+ programme and the EU’s green and digital transitions.
The project team will continue to disseminate results through conferences, workshops and collaboration with partner institutions, with a strong focus on practical examples of integrating green and digital skills into teaching and learning.
