SKILL2SUSTAIN at STEPGRAD 2026 – Invited Lecture on BIM and Engineering Education

On June 4–5, 2026, the 17th International Conference on Contemporary Theory and Practice in Construction – STEPGRAD was held in Banja Luka, organized by the Faculty of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy at the University of Banja Luka. The Conference, ranked in the highest category by the Ministry of Scientific and Technological Development and Higher Education of the Republic of Srpska, brought together researchers, educators, and professionals from across the globe in civil engineering, architecture, geodesy, and related disciplines.

Dr Jovana Topalić, Research Associate, represented the SKILL2SUSTAIN project with an invited lecture titled “The Role of Building Information Modeling (BIM) in Civil Engineering Education within the Education 5.0 Framework”. The lecture addressed the integration of BIM technologies into modern engineering curricula, a topic closely aligned with the project’s mission to boost digital and green skills across Western Balkan higher education institutions.

Participation in STEPGRAD 2026 reflects SKILL2SUSTAIN’s ongoing commitment to disseminating research outcomes and fostering collaboration between academia and the wider professional community.
