SKILL2SUSTAIN Info Day Held at the Faculty of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy

On 9 March 2026, the Faculty of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy of the University of Banja Luka hosted an Info Day within the Erasmus+ project “Boosting Digital and Green Skills for a Resilient and Sustainable Western Balkan Society – SKILL2SUSTAIN.”

During the event, Associate Professor Dr. Gordana Jakovljević presented the significance of the project, emphasizing that its main objective is the development of a modern and sustainable educational ecosystem that supports the digital and green transition in the Western Balkans region.

A particular focus of the Info Day was the presentation of the Research and Educational Center, its capacities, and the opportunities it offers to potential users. Participants had the opportunity to learn about the centre’s work plan, the laboratory equipment procured within the project, as well as opportunities for cooperation, training, and the application of modern technologies in the field of digital and green skills.

In addition, the key project activities and expected results were presented, along with the role of the University of Banja Luka in their implementation.

The Info Day was organized with the aim of informing the academic community and the wider public, as well as promoting the REC as a platform that will enable future users to acquire new knowledge, practical skills, and access to modern research infrastructure.
