SKILL2SUSTAIN Project Kick-Off Meeting

The Kick-Off meeting of the Erasmus+ project “Boosting digital and green skills for a resilient and sustainable Western Balkan society – SKILL2SUSTAIN”, co-founded by the European Union, was successfully held at the Science and Technology Park of the University of Novi Sad. Event took place on the 5th and 6th of May 2025 with participation from all project partners.

The SKILL2SUSTAIN project proposal has been selected for funding under Erasmus+ programme – Capacity building in the field of higher education. Project consortium consists of 14 partners from 7 countries, covering higher education institutions, NGOs, and chambers of commerce and industry. Project will run for three years, from April 2025 to March 2028.

Project is focused on the Western Balkans, with the main goal to mainstream a holistic approach to digitalization and green transition by building an effective, contemporary, and sustainable education ecosystem. 

During the first day of event, partners presented their institutions and experience relevant for the SKILL2SUSTAIN project implementation. The main objectives and activities within the project were also introduced in the form of brief work package presentations. The second day focused on project management, risk planning, quality assurance, and dissemination strategy. 

Attendees had the opportunity to align strategic project goals while also enjoying informal networking during a social dinner. The meeting concluded with a detailed action plan for the next six months, emphasising strong collaboration and the successful implementation of planned activities.
