Representatives of the University of Tirana, Fjona Kurdeshi, MA, and Loredana Sulejmani, MA, together with Stjepan Stanić, MA, representing the University College “Center for Business Studies” in Kiseljak participated in the training visit to the University of Zagreb Faculty of Civil Engineering from 18 to 22 May 2026.
Productive training visit at the University of Zagreb Faculty of Economics & Business, with participation from partners from the University of Tirana, Faculty of Economy and University College “CEPS–Center for Business Studies” in Kiseljak.
During their visit, they:
- explored key Circular Economy concepts and business models
- engaged with students through interactive lectures and discussions
- took part in a hands-on Circular Economy Workshop
- attended the PhD defence on Implementation of the Circular Business Model in Enhancing Company Performance in Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina
- worked on research topics, paper development, and future collaboration opportunities
What stood out most was the energy, curiosity, and commitment to advancing circular economy knowledge across our region. The collaborative paper stemming from this training visit will be presented at the Symposium in Kotor, Montenegro, 1-3 September 2026.
